Instagram Integration Privacy Policy

The Integration is an internal website-management tool available only to authorized administrators of a participating business (for example, staff of the business whose website we operate). It connects to that business's own Instagram professional account to retrieve published profile information, posts, images, videos, captions, links, and related metadata, solely for display on that business's own website.

• The Integration does not ask website visitors to connect their Facebook or Instagram accounts.
• It does not collect Facebook or Instagram account information from website visitors.
• It does not post, message, comment, or take any action on the connected account.
• Data retrieved through the Integration is not sold, shared for advertising, or used to build profiles of any person.

When a business administrator connects an Instagram professional account, we receive and store:

• Access tokens issued by Meta, used only to retrieve the connected account's published content. Tokens are stored securely server-side and are never exposed to website visitors.
• Published content and metadata of the connected account (posts, images, videos, captions, permalinks, timestamps), which may be cached to display it quickly on the business's website.

This information is used exclusively to display the connected account's content on the website of the business that authorized the connection. It is not used for any other purpose.

We do not sell or rent this information. It is processed only by the infrastructure providers that host the business's website (for example, hosting and content-delivery services), acting on our instructions.

• A business may disconnect its Instagram account from the Integration at any time from its website admin; disconnection invalidates the stored access token and stops all retrieval.
• The connection can also be revoked from Instagram directly: Instagram → Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → Remove.
• Cached content associated with a disconnected account is deleted in the ordinary course of operation.
• To request deletion of any information associated with the Integration, email info@flash-step.com with the name of the business and the connected Instagram username. We will confirm completion of the deletion.

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated to participating businesses.
